NUMBER ONE ON THE ROAD
It starts tonight at Lambeau. After that, two hundred and fifty eight contests are open between Friday afternoon and Sunday night. The top ranked team in the country plays at noon Eastern Saturday, a hundred and sixteen more college games follow it, fourteen NFL games land Sunday, a baseball season ends with two division races unsettled, and the Presidents Cup is at Medinah.

Michael Penix Jr. makes his first start since last November's ACL tear for an 0-2 Atlanta team, at Lambeau on Prime Video. The community has Green Bay at -243, Atlanta +214, the spread at Packers -5 and the total at 43.

Texas at Tennessee, Saturday noon Eastern on ABC, community line Texas -179 and Tennessee +174
Texas is 3-0 and ranked first in the country. Tennessee is 3-0 and ranked fourteenth. Noon Eastern Saturday on ABC at Neyland Stadium, the SEC opener for both, and the first road trip of the year for Texas. The Longhorns beat UTSA 30-6 last week and already own a win over a then top ranked Ohio State. Tennessee handled Kennesaw State 42-9 and brings the fourth best rushing offense in the country at 298.7 yards a game.
The community line is Texas -179, Tennessee +174, and it drifted a point toward Texas while this was being written. The part worth staring at is how little the room disagrees. Four quotes on Texas come back at -178, -180, -180 and -178, about a quarter of a cent of spread across the whole board on the biggest game of the weekend. Part of that price is the address, and Home Field Advantage in Football Betting puts a number on how much, which is smaller than most people assume.

Numbers pulled Thursday morning and they will move before kickoff. Ten rows out of two hundred and fifty eight is a choice, not the board. Four games you will ask about are left out for one reason: a single quote sits miles off the rest. Bengals at Steelers has one at +124 against five between +163 and +167. Titans at Giants has one at -248 against six near -133. Ravens against the Cowboys in Rio, 4:25 on CBS, has one at +135 against five at +160 or better. Iowa at Michigan has one at -230 against four near -200. A broken quote is not a market. The NHL games are preseason and the deepest holds about two hundred dollars. Saturday also carries a twelve bout UFC card with main event walkouts near 9:20 Eastern, priced too wide to print.

The Presidents Cup is at Medinah Country Club outside Chicago, on Course No. 3, a par 70. Saturday runs four-ball in the morning and foursomes in the afternoon on NBC and Peacock. Sunday is twelve singles matches from noon, every player on both teams in the field, the one day match play gives you a full board of head to heads.
